Turmeric Hummus
We love hummus in our household and this upgraded version is immune supportive and anti-inflammatory.
Ingredients:
1 tin of organic chickpeas
1/2 teaspoon fresh turmeric
1 big tablespoon tahini
2 garlic cloves
4 tablespoons ACV
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon bone broth
salt to taste (not normally needed if using bone broth)
water may be needed if consistency is too thick
Method:
Drain and rinse the chickpeas, add to food processor.
Add all the other ingredients into the food processor and blend on high speed until a desired consistency.
Serve with cut up veggies sticks, on steamed veggies, with seedy crackers, or homemade burgers.
