Crispy Tofu

Tofu is high in a type of phytoestrogens called isoflavons. Before menopause, phytoestrogens are anti-estrogenic because they block estradiol. After menopause, they’re slightly pro estrogenic because there is less estradial to block, that’s why they can relieve menopausal symptoms like hot flushes.

So soy in moderation can be beneficial just make sure its always organic soy and not GMO.

This crispy tofu is a great plant protein to add to salads, stir fries or as a snack.
