Beetroot Hummus Without Oil

Dips are a great way to get plenty of nutrition in but often store bought ones are full of seed oils which are inflammatory. This homemade dip is a great one without any oil at all to support optimal health.

I use this dip in the RESET Lifelong Habits Program

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 Boiled beetroots, peeled and roughly cut (you can buy these pre boiled if time poor)

  • 1 can of chickpeas

  • 1 tablespoon tahini

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • cracked pepper

  • 1 squeezed lemon or ACV

  • Enough water to blend altogether

Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a food processor. You may need to keep adding bits of water so a thin consistency is made.

  2. Ready to serve
